We are happy to announce the 1Life2Play Gaming & Esports Lounge is open to the public. While we are excited to get back to the business of watching, creating, competing, and playing in a world of video games, we want to take a moment to review some important measures that we have put in place to ensure your time spent in the lounge is safe, healthy, and, as always, full of excitement.
Our owners and staff have worked diligently to bring cleaning procedures, seating arrangements, staffing needs, and accessibility to personal protection equipment to a level above those recommended by the CDC and ODH. Below are the main points of emphasis that we have put in place . This steps will work hand in hand with all direction continuing to come from the Ohio Department of Health, CDC, and community feedback.
Maximum number of gamers in the lounge will be restricted to 90 (out of 180).
Registering for events will not guarantee entry into the venue, although it is highly encouraged so staff as a clear understanding of expected attendance. As for casual gaming, if you’d like to ensure entry, we recommend making a reservation. To make a reservation, give us a call at 440-305-5111. This system will allow staff to anticipate the arrival of gamers and provide better seating, access to equipment, and ensure capacity limits are adhered to. If you happen to walk in the lounge without a reservation, we won’t turn you away, but please be aware that you may be placed on a waiting list due to capacity.
We do have some rules in place to make sure everyone has a good time.
If you are under 8 years old, we feel like 1Life2Play may not be the best environment for you. There are of course exceptions to this rule, but we do not normally have children under 8 on our stations at 1Life2Play.
If you are 8 to 12, you must be accompanied by a person 18 or older at all times. Your group must have at least one 18-year-old, or older, per four 8 to 12-year-olds. All equipment will be held under the government issued ID of the adult.
If you are 13 to 17, you must be accompanied by 18 or older person at all times unless an Offsite Guardian form is completed by a parent or legal guardian. Your group must have at least one 18-year-old, or older, per four 13 to 17-year-olds that do not have the Offsite Guardian form completed. All equipment will be held under the player’s school or government issued ID. You may download the Off-Site Guardian HERE, and bring it with you on your first visit. We will verify forms submitted without a parent or guardian present.
We like to make things as easy as possible, so we’ve made the Offsite Guardian form available to complete online HERE.
Absolutely! We encourage it. While we provide everything you need to have a complete gaming experience, we understand you have your favorite controller or mouse. Feel free to bring any keyboards, mice, or controllers you like, and if they are compatible with our equipment, we will make it work for you.
If you have your own console, even that retro machine you do not have the hookups for at home, bring that in and play it at one of our stations. There is a $5.00 charge for making these connections for you.
Do you have a handheld or laptop you want to play here? Bring that in as well! We have an area just for you with Bring Your Own Device. Connect to our 1 GB fiber internet, plug in for power, and relax on one of our comfy couches.
Please keep in mind, 1Life2Play is not responsible for any damages to your own personal equipment while you are in our lounge.
We know that it might seem weird, but we have some expensive stuff here. We know you would not do anything on purpose to our things, us holding your ID while you are playing ensures both of us that everyone leaves with their own items.
Yes! Feel free to use your own information to play on any of our systems. Every night, our hardware is cleared of information that is not ours, so you can be assured no one else will have access to your account.

Of course, you can! OBS and Streamlabs are installed on all the PCs. Please know, we do not have a camera for each station, but our headsets do have a built-in microphone. If you want to use your own stream as well, feel free to sign into your account. Otherwise, we do have accounts for you to use.
You do not have to make reservations, but it is recommended to guarantee you get the spot you want. You can book up to a week in advance by calling us at (44) 305-5111 or emailing email@example.com.
We hold your reserved station for five minutes beyond your reservation time. We understand how 77 and 480 can be. If it is any longer then that, however, we can not guarantee that we will have your station available. We will, upon your arrival, work to find a comparable station for you to game at.
Kids under 13 must always have an adult (age 18 or older) with them. Kids 13-17 must have an adult (age 18 or older) with them, unless a legal guardian has filled out an Offsite Guardian form here on our website or in the lounge and presented their government issued ID. Kids 13-17 must have a school or government issued ID if they are left without an adult.
We are always looking for the next awesome Game Keeper. While we might not have a position open right away, feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org with your resume and we’ll be happy to take a look at it. If there is a spot for you, we will get back to you.
We do, sort of. If you know the player’s username, we can add money onto the account. Make sure you are 100% sure of the username because once money is added, we can not remove the money and move it to the correct account.
We are less than 10 minutes from 480 and 77 in Parma, OH!
You sure can. Just understand, we are not responsible to any damage to your disks while they are at 1Life2Play.
While our current software does not allow for account creation outside the lounge, we do have our Offsite Guardian forms available here on our website. Please keep in mind, you only need to complete the paperwork once per year. We will keep track of the date for you and let you know when you need to complete the forms again.
We take all the physical paperwork and put it in a locking file cabinet in a locked office. After a year, when the paperwork is expired, we shred it all and make sure no personal information can be shared from it.
Your digital information is kept locally on our network behind two firewalls and is never, ever shared.

Absolutely not! Some of the best games are casual, laid-back single player games. Come play anything you like here. We built this space for all types of gamers. We also offer table top gaming so whether you love Monopoly or Magic the Gathering, you can play it right here.
We understand you want to keep your private stuff private. We do too! The only information that our network keeps is your device’s MAC address for tracking data usage. If your device is found to be loading malware or viruses through the network, it will be blocked and will not be allowed back onto the network.
We always have our doors open to any theropods that would like to visit 1Life2Play.
